The jobholder is responsible for overall HR operations to ensure best delivery of Human Capital (HC) services including compliance, effectiveness and efficiency of payroll benefits administration and employee deployment services delivery. Responsible for the availability of HR systems including leading the deployment and enhancement projects. Oversee the provision of accurate and timely HC Operations Management Information. Be the key contact point for dealing with local authorities in Vietnam for relevant matters.
- Lead the team to be responsible for payroll and benefits administration to ensure best services delivery to employees across Vietnam.
- Develop and manage payroll and benefits processes effectively to align with all kinds of laws, regulations and internal policies and processes.
- Manage the whole process of Personal Income Tax (PIT) monthly declaration, annual finalization including the tax individual filings for Expats, reporting on the cost allocation and whole process of Social Insurance(SI)/ Health Insurance (HI)/ Unemployment Insurance (UI) contributions and reconciliation to ensure compliance in accordance with local regulations and instructions.
- Be responsible for the HC shared service operations, including responding to staff queries, staff profile management, supporting staff onboarding and engagement activities, ensure the best quality of the services.
- Be responsible for managing operational risks in the team including framework, implementation and checking procedure.
- Establish and regularly review HC Operations Service Level Agreement (SLA) and improve customer services through feedback and surveys.
- Represent HC Operations with local authorities such as SI/Tax/Labor departments… and with global/internal auditors for periodical audits and deployment of new regulations or instructions.
- Lead the team to manage all aspects of PwC’s Human Capital technology, process improvement, metrics and MI reporting.
- Responsible for the availability of HR systems, act as a territory coordinator for deployment and enhancement projects.
- Direct responsibility for the day to day coaching and development of the HC Operations team.
- Engage with other HC teams in support of overall HR activities
- Perform other tasks assigned by the line manager/matrix manager.
- Bachelor degree holder in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or other related business fields
- At least 7 years of HR experience with a minimum of 3 years leading HR Operations. Experience in the finance industry would be an advantage
- Good knowledge of related regulations and Labor code
- Good planning, problem-solving and data skills
- Good communication skills in both English and Vietnamese (both oral and written). Experience in working with senior stakeholders to propose and deliver solutions in response to business needs
- Proactive with ability to be innovative and drive things forward
- Good experience in using Payroll software and HRMS, preferably in using Workday
