This role will be responsible for developing, executing and optimizing global marketing strategies & plans to achieve revenue growth and increase our brand awareness in all of our operating markets. As the leader of the Global Shared Service Marketing team, you will determine how to best reach our target customers through various activities and lead the group through the successful execution of the same.

You will get to contribute to end-to-end global and local marketing strategies and campaigns, conduct pivotal research and have your insightful contribution develop, expand, and maintain all of our traditional and digital marketing channels. In this role, you will maintain direct communication with all internal functional managers as well as country managers in helping meet the needs of each individual country and market.

This role will be a part of the Global Capability Centre in Bangalore, which is a part of the company’s Head Office located in Oslo, Norway. You will report directly to the Head of GCC, with a dotted line into the CMO/Chief Growth Officer. The Global Marketing lead will work in a matrix-organization, collaborating with Marketing Managers and Country Managers in all operating countries.

  • Accountable for leading the development and execute our global and local marketing efforts, focusing on brand awareness and tactical marketing in an omni-channel environment.
  • Ensure our brand message and communication is strong and consistent across all global channels and marketing efforts
  • Build and lead a team of 8-10 marketing professionals to support our global needs around content creation, visual design, social media campaigns, channel management, website design and management.
  • Responsible and accountable for meeting MROI’s and that we are operating in-line with agreed budgets
  • Accountable for the first steps in our Customer Journey – ensuring that the Lead Management Process is optimized; Leads are being generated, nurtured, and converted.
  • Build, manage and deliver a Brand and Marketing catalogue of services being offered to all operating and new markets.
  • Collaborate with external partners for other marketing tasks/projects
  • Stay up to date with latest development in Marketing Technology as well as marketing best practices
  • Possess the ability to understand the as-is and build a compelling design for the to-be, using the latest in technology and practices, helping in optimizing the company brand.
  • You have prior experience in setting up and managing Marketing teams in the Education, Retail or similar industries.
  • You have a strong understanding of all marketing functions, particularly digital, social media, content and design.
  • You have 12+ years of experience with a minimum of 5 year of leading teams and 2 years in a global role.
  • You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a hands-on approach to handling tasks allocated to the team.
  • You are an outcome-oriented leader, comfortable with numbers, reporting and delivering business impact activities.
  • You are social media savvy and understand clearly how to sell through the medium.
