Your Purpose as a Media Director:
- Oversee Baxter Auto Group’s paid media strategy, ensuring that strategies developed by our outside agency partners are executed at a high level on behalf of our group.
- Hold agency partners accountable by utilizing industry benchmarks and key business performance metrics to inform paid media investments.
- Partner with General Managers and Brand Managers to detect changes in the market to allow further development of our paid media strategy (e.g. seasonality, competitor actions, consumer behavior).
- Develop and present strategic plans to dealership leadership and the executive team.
- Provide marketplace expertise and work with agency partners to recommend optimizations to existing plans.
- Represent a best-in-class command of paid search and all other digital channels and their appropriate role within an integrated media strategy.
- Manipulate large data sets for business insights and work collaboratively with all involved parties in implementing solutions to improve campaign productivity and increase return.
- Maintain the integrity of the marketing data and manage all necessary systems and outside partners to ensure consistency, reliability, and accuracy of reported results.
- Work collaboratively with marketing staff to ensure understanding and adoption of best practices in media performance data analysis.
- Work alongside agency and office teams to understand and monitor paid media billing, inclusive of co-op reimbursement and reconciliation.
- Manage any direct or indirect reports daily activities, as requested; identify resourcing needs as the company develops expanded marketing capabilities.
Key Mindsets and Skillsets:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or business-related field required with a minimum of 10 years of experience leading and directing media planning activities within an organization required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
