  • Manage payroll for Infinera entities in APAC region.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for employees.
  • Complying with local regulations, Managing Provident Fund/NPS/Gratuity/Similar benefit compliances
  • Compliance on withholding tax on salary and stock options.
  • Ensure that all payroll tax compliances are done in a timely manner.
  • Payroll accounting in SAP environment as per US and Local GAAP requirements.
  • Ensuring all payroll regulatory filings are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining confidential employee data, tax information, and other relevant details.
  • Collaborating with peer Payroll Managers globally, HR, Finance, and other departments to manage payroll-related matters for effective resolutions and provide assistance to employees.
  • Perform Blackline monthly reconciliation for payroll accounts.
  • Assisting in managing the budget and forecasting payroll expenses.
  • Managing Statutory, Internal and Sox audit for payroll scope for the region.
  • Providing training and support to payroll team, coaching, and mentoring the team.
  • Identifying opportunities to optimize processes and enhance the overall payroll function.
  • Work with payroll software and automation tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency
  • Experience Necessary for Success:
  • Good Knowledge Payroll platform like ADP/Immedis/Ascent
  • Strong knowledge and application of Payroll tax laws /regulations/Labor law compliances
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good leadership and management skills
  • Team player along with good analytical skills
  • Self-motivated and flexible to work collaboratively with global team
  • Posses Good attitude and accept new challenges
  • Candidates must have BCom/M Com; with
  • 12+ years’ experience in payroll management.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years experience as people manager.
  • Global business service/ Shared service experience preferred.
