To enrich our sales team, we are now looking for a full-time Multi Property Director of Sales & Distribution (m/f/d) who wants to use his motivation to ensure the long-term commercial success of our hotels together with us.
- Management of the holistic sales team (30 employees)
- Management of all sales and distribution activities in all segments at local and international level
- Assuming overall responsibility for achieving all sales targets
- Building and maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Development and implementation of commercial strategies and measures to achieve hotel sales, revenue and market share targets
- Responsibility for implementing Marriott International’s global sales strategy and ensuring that hotel sales activities comply with Marriott International standards and guidelines
- Promote sales efficiency to increase customer satisfaction
- Analysis of available resources to explore new business opportunities (e.g. through competitive analysis)
- Analyze hotel market share reports and month-end reports to provide recommendations to maximize results
- Responsibility for the performance and optimization of all channels, including third-party channels such as OTAs and group referral platforms as well as Marriott programs
- Support in developing the hotel positioning on the market and designing the hotels’ positioning strategy
- Developing a trusting and respectful business partnership with the hotel owners
- Controlling and success analysis of the implemented measures and their reporting
- Key Account & CRM Management
- Networking and representation of the hotel at events and trade fairs
- Close cooperation with all relevant departments, especially revenue management, marketing and finance, to ensure the long-term commercial success of the hotels
- Promoting the sales skills of the sales team through targeted training and qualification measures
- Conducting regular employee and appraisal interviews
- Setting and monitoring the monthly and annual objectives of individual employees and the entire department
- Support in preparing the budget and business plan
- Participation in all relevant internal and external departmental meetings
- Long-term personnel planning in cooperation with the human resources department
- Consideration and compliance with all Marriott and The Ritz-Carlton standards
- Completed commercial vocational training or completed vocational training or studies in the hotel industry or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in sales as well as experience in premium and luxury hotels
- Proven professional experience in an equivalent position
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
- Confident use of CRM tools
- Very good knowledge of common MS Office applications
- Technical sales know-how and sophisticated sales skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills
- Very good understanding of sales systems, tools, principles and processes
- Ability to develop and implement sales strategies and ability to evaluate and analyze financial reports
- In-depth knowledge of market trends and excellent networking skills
- Ability to build and strengthen customer relationships
