The incumbent will be responsible for managing the operational delivery and project management within the New Product Introduction (NPI) function operated by GBS. Also, team lead for NPI Manager (G34)/ Executive (G33).

  • Ensure On-Time and In-Full (OTIF) delivery of all basic and sophisticated projects with high proficiency, leading sophisticated projects independently with minimal direct supervision.
  • Provide NPI updates and reports, ensuring team alignment on NPI readiness and daily direction setting.
  • Lead end-to-end NPI deployment projects according to pre-determined important metrics.
  • Develop, monitor, and lead comprehensive project plans with input from functional experts.
  • Provide the Product Development Team (PDT) with clear project status visibility.
  • Facilitate informed decision-making for Commercial Business Partners, including brands.
  • Clearly communicate NPI-related project costs to budget holders, including tooling, trials/MQS, and warehouse management system (WMS) write-offs.
  • Apply effective tools, such as Z2 planning, to drive WMS write-off reduction.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to develop aligned plans, resolve project issues, and secure vital support for project delivery with appropriate visibility.
  • Establish, lead, and empower cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and cultivate collaboration within and across teams, functions, and end-markets.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with Commercial business partners and the NPI Community, including Product Development, Product Assurance, Packaging Development, SCIP, Quality, Factory, and Regional NPI.
  • Ensure compliance with GBS frameworks and local data privacy, security, and internal control regulations for the markets served.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement activities, supporting the Process Owner and Delivery Excellence teams.
  • Lead, develop, mentor, and empower team members to improve the performance of the function and build team capability.
  • Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end processes for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Minimum of 6 years of dynamic experience in the operational delivery of these services, ideally in end markets or a shared service center.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in Operations (manufacturing or supply chain) is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, people management, and change management skills, with the ability to manage relationships professionally.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain principles, core processes, and systems.
  • Flexibility to adjust working style in a constantly changing business environment.
  • Independent and proactive, with strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Leadership qualities to champion and guide new ways of working.
  • Detail-oriented with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
  • Disciplined in paperwork and records management to ensure auditable projects and deliver results under tight and stressful timelines.
