JSS are retained by our PE backed multi country European Manufacturing client. They a currently going through a period of positive restructuring.

• Manage all country accounting teams across all entities in Europe and work with them on policies, procedures, closing of books and any specific accounting issues that come up.
• Drive consistency in accounting processes, accounting policies and other accounting/IFRS topics.

Person Profile:

• Qualified worked as a Operational controller ideally in a larger corporate (could be divisional controller)
• Strong process skills, experienced to drive and implement and audit accounting policies across a non-structured environment
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
• SSC/GBS experience
• Proven track record of managing complex financial operations in a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (Ideally Tagetik and D365).

Education & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) from the Big4

Person Requirements:

• Should be ideally someone with big 4 background and then being internal audit or external audit on an international basis but strong on the process side of things (so be good if it is someone with a Shared Service lead background or implementation background).
• Flexible home location across Western Europe.
• Language: English critical, German highly desirable but not compulsory
