We are looking for someone who enjoys managing and further transforming the Shared Service Centers. Someone who is interested in supporting and developing the teams of employees and leading the site leads. Someone with an interest in optimizing the processes within the Centers but also someone with the skills to constantly want to improve and innovate in the field of technological applications. Someone who can make good trade-offs in investments and cost control. Someone who works well with the teams, but also with all partners involved in the process, such as suppliers, but also in particular is the figurehead for the customers who are linked to our Centers.
- As Operations Manager Shared Services Centers you ensure functional and correctly dimensioned availability and performance within the Shared Service Centers
- You routinely balance equipment and service availability, service level compliance, and the personnel and qualifications needed to deliver service quality with economics.
- You are able to motivate, facilitate and further develop the employees within your team. You are a People manager who is able to forge your employees into a well-coordinated team.
- You continue to develop the portfolio based on internal and external requirements and guide the selection and implementation processes to achieve a solution-oriented way of working.
- You are responsible for all adjustments and promote the continuous improvement process through your policy in the context of company guidelines
- You are responsible for the organizational design and the continuous development of the staff in terms of competence, productivity and career development
- You routinely negotiate contractual details with internal and external customers, partners and communicate targeted decisions and procedures
- You ensure standardization in the centers and improve the possibilities to meet new requirements
- You manage inventory, implement strong cost management and drive productivity
- Responsibility for the business management aspects of the Shared Service Center completes the area of responsibility
- You maintain close contact with stakeholders both nationally and internationally

- The communication skills that you possess enable you to have a nice conversation with our print operators, a good conversation with our suppliers and to organize customer visits to give substance to strategic transition objectives.
Your profile
- You have a degree in business administration or a comparable demonstrable qualification
- You have in-depth experience in managing operational Shared Service Centers while maintaining service levels
- You have leadership experience and the ability to lead and inspire individuals and teams in direct, collaborative or virtual roles
- You have the theoretical tools to understand and question complex production contexts and use your ability to assess problems, find causes, develop solutions, prioritize them and implement them in a timely manner
- Control is not only based on the “on demand” needs, but also on a clear number/measurement basis, which you can further develop creatively
- You characterize the management of the centers and the control of suppliers with a high degree of initiative and your communication skills with a clear focus on goals
- Experience with the financial components is crystal clear from cost center management, cost control and smart investment plans
- You are also enthusiastic about talking to customers about services provided by the centers and giving substance to the transformation and long(er) term objectives.
- As we operate in an international environment, good business, fluent English skills are required
- You enjoy being active on the locations, but also at our main location in De Meern, with the suppliers and our customers. Working from home for the balance is part of this.
