You’re joining an impressive market leading PLC at an exciting time. They are amid a period of incredibly interesting investment and transformation – which includes the creation, set up and build of a world-class financial shared service function.
Your remit initially is management and leadership of the OTC function in the newly created SSC. A talented team of 10-15 headcount.
- You’ll be someone who loves adding value, suggesting and delivering change and striving for optimal performance. You’ll be a natural leader – someone who enjoys coaching and mentoring and has a genuine ability to bring out the very best in others.
- You’ll design and embed robust process and control across the function – you’ll work with senior stakeholders across the business and the SSC to ensure strategies are well thought through and fit for modern purpose.
- You’ll ideally have spent time in a strong performing financial shared service or large group finance team. You’ll be someone who can resolve complex problems and ensure world class processes and ways of working are clearly explained and adopted.
- The purpose of the Order-To-Cash (OTC) Manager role is to oversee the day-to-day operations of the OTC team within the Finance Shared Services (FSS).
- The overarching responsibility encompasses overseeing and effectively managing the strategy and tactical decision making within Billing, Credit Management, Account Receivables and Revenue Reconciliations.
- You’ll be fostering a culture of high performance within your teams – embedding smart goals, clear and modern KPIs and sensible personal performance support structures for your colleagues.
- ACCA / ACA or CIMA Qualified with demonstratable experience of leadership within a financial shared service setting.
- Capable of managing OTC / AR teams supporting multiple business units from a shared services environment and delivering high quality services
- You’ll have excellent knowledge of financial systems and a deep understanding of Finance processes
- Previous experience in working with Finance ERP systems, specifically with S/4 HANA would be preferred
- You’ll be a highly capable leader of teams – a modern and forward-thinking coach / mentor.
