The role of the P2P Global Process Owner at MundiPharma is a key strategic role leading the overall strategy, design, operational policies, transformation, and standardisation of the process area to ensure that end-to-end processes deliver on its goals of transformation and finance business process optimization. The Global Process Owner will act as the owner for the Finance processes, designing and owning the end-to-end process across functional, geographic, and business unit boundaries, ensuring standardization and efficiency, implementing policies and effective measures.

Ops Finance TOM owner & gate keeper:

 

  • Define and own scope and service boundaries within and beyond Finance (including intercompany & supply chain related matters)
  • Manage ongoing governance of the operating model which includes process aligned offshore BPO and Centres of Excellence
  • Chair governance forum for all TOM deviations & scope transitions requests incl. sign off

Strategic Operational roadmap owner:

 

  • Formulate the overall vision for operational Finance: identifying, recommending, and driving key improvement initiatives to delivery process efficiencies and benefits as part of a short / medium- and long-term roadmap – this includes transformation & continuous improvements.
  • Own the P2P blueprint across process and system working closely with IT change management stakeholders.
  • Lead, implement and embed process changes via standardisation and automation solutions
  • Regularly monitor performance measures & relevant data to benchmark against industry peers to articulate recommendations on processes /people / systems
  • Enable & support the Finance operational teams in delivering benefits and efficiencies

Process documentation

  • Ensure that the operational teams have appropriate process documentation and training capabilities are in place

End to End Cross Function Process Sign Off

  • Design and implement end-to-end processes collaboratively with other key functions (procurement, commercial, supply chain, etc.)
  • Sign off owner on behalf of Finance for the cross functions scope boundaries and ways of working and/or responsible to obtain relevant sign off at CFO LT level where appropriate

Operational Policies:

  • Develop and roll out relevant finance operational policies to support the Finance control framework
  • Collaborate with the various Audit functions to define and implement the mitigation plans across the Operational finance teams & Embedded Finance

Finance in enterprise-wide Projects:

  • Represent finance in various Mundipharma initiatives led by other functions (compliance, legal, procurement etc.)
  • Advise on Group led initiatives which impact transactional finance and ensure benefits and efficiencies are not at risk or compromised.
  • University Degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting or other relevant subject
  • GPO experience in a global company
  • Experience in managing complex operations & projects incl BPO shared services
  • Continuous improvement track record
  • End to end finance process understanding
  • Experience coaching and managing people (direct and/or indirect), delegates effectively, cross functional understanding, senior stakeholder management, strong negotiation skills
