Mundipharma are looking to recruit a Global Process Owner (GPO) to join their Operations Finance Team. The role holder will define and own scope and service boundaries within and beyond Finance (including intercompany & supply chain related matters).
- Manage ongoing governance of the operating model which includes process aligned offshore BPO (business process outsourcing) and Centres of Excellence
- Chair governance forum for all TOM deviations & scope transitions requests
- Formulate the overall vision for operational Finance: identifying, recommending, and driving key improvement initiatives to the delivery process efficiencies and benefits as part of a short / medium- and long-term roadmap – this includes transformation & continuous improvements.
- Sign off for all finance processes and workarounds as part of the OneERP roll out and supervise the readiness activities for the operational teams.
- Lead, implement and embed process changes via standardisation and automation solutions Regularly monitor performance measures & relevant data to benchmark against industry peers to articulate recommendations on processes /people / systems
- Enable & support the Finance operational teams in delivering benefits and efficiencies
- Ensure that the operational teams have appropriate process documentation and training capabilities are in place
- Design and implement end-to-end processes collaboratively with other key functions (procurement, commercial, supply chain, etc.)
- Sign off owner on behalf of Finance for the cross functions scope boundaries and ways of working and/or responsible to obtain relevant sign off at CFO LT level where appropriate
- Develop and roll out relevant finance operational policies to support the Finance control framework Collaborate with the various Audit functions to define and implement the mitigation plans across the Operational finance teams & Embedded Finance
- Represent finance in various Mundipharma initiatives led by other functions (compliance, legal, etc) Advise on Group led initiatives which impact transactional finance and ensure benefits and efficiencies are not at risk or compromised.
- University Degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting
- GPO experience in a global company
- Experience in managing large / complex operations & projects inc BPO and captive shared services
- Continuous improvement track record
- End to end finance process understanding
- Finance shared services experience
- ERP rollout programme, Project delivery, automation initiatives
- Experience with Pharma industry processes would be beneficial
- Finance transformation experience
- End to end enterprise processes understanding Coaches & manages people (direct and/or indirect), delegates effectively, cross functional wow understanding, senior stakeholder management, strong negotiation skills
