What you’ll do
This role will play a pivotal role in transforming the people experience at TGE. You will lead a program of works to optimise people processes and re-imagine how we deliver HR services to our people. This role offers a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, change and project management.
As a process and transformation expert, you will be responsible for streamlining our people process and improve employee experience, as well as driving process improvement initiatives and leveraging Lean Management principles to the people operations team.
The People Services Transformation Lead’s overarching objective is to enhance TGE’s People Shared Services operating model – at a high level this includes:

Developing the 2-year people services transformation plan.

Expand the service catalogue of the People Shared Servies Team by identifying and transitioning Tier 0-2 Tasks from the business to People Shared Services team.

Uplift the capability and service delivery of the existing People Shared Services team.
With no people leadership or BAU delivery responsibility, this is a rare and (potentially) career defining opportunity to truly own and deliver a transformative piece of work.
You will have come from a background of leading and optimising a people services function, ideally in a complex and / or unionised environment. You are creative with a customer centric focus and take a HCD approach to design. You enjoy collaborating and bringing people on a journey.

5+ years of transformative Shared Services experience, with 2+ years in a leadership capacity.

Deep knowledge of people policies, procedures, and best practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong personal agility, commitment to service and pragmatic approach to delivery.
