We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced finance professional to join our team in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, as a Finance Process Improvement Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving efficiency and productivity in our finance shared services center by standardizing processes and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. The shared services center covers the following financial processes: payroll, billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit and collection management, and GL accounting.
- Standardize financial processes within the shared services center to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive productivity and reduce costs.
- Utilize tools such as Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify and resolve process inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements across the organization.
- Act as a change agent to drive a culture of continuous improvement across the finance organization.
- Develop and maintain process documentation to ensure processes are executed consistently.
- Partner with IT to automate processes where possible.
- Monitor key performance indicators and report on progress to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with finance professionals responsible for executing financial processes within the shared services center.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in finance process improvement, shared services, or related field.
- Experience implementing process improvements using Lean Six Sigma methodologies, preferably with a Black Belt certification.
- In-depth knowledge of financial processes such as payroll, billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit and collection management, and GL accounting.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English, Portuguese is a plus.
