The Process Migration Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the migration of processes to the shared services environment. This role involves ensuring smooth transitions, managing risks, and implementing best practices to deliver seamless integration while maintaining service excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in project management, stakeholder engagement, and process optimization.
Process Migration Planning:
- Develop detailed migration plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with business units to identify processes for migration and ensure alignment with shared services objectives.
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all migration-related communications.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across various departments and regions.
- Facilitate regular updates, workshops, and feedback sessions.
Project Management:
- Lead end-to-end migration projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and deadlines.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Oversee cross-functional teams and ensure roles and responsibilities are clearly defined.
Process Assessment and Optimization:
- Analyze existing processes for potential improvements before migration.
- Implement automation, standardization, and process re-engineering where feasible.
- Ensure migrated processes comply with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and service level agreements (SLAs).
Training and Change Management:
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops for transitioning teams.
- Address resistance to change and support teams in adopting new processes.
- Monitor post-migration performance and provide continuous improvement recommendations.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare detailed reports on migration progress, challenges, and outcomes.
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
Professional Experience
- 8+ years of experience in shared services, business process outsourcing, or operations management.
- Proven track record of leading process migration projects, preferably in a global environment.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
- Experience with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, ARIS).
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and automation tools (RPA, Power Automate).
Certifications (Preferred)
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt).
- Certifications in change management (e.g., Prosci) or process improvement methodologies.
