The Product Manager, Shared Services and Portal position, is in charge of establishing shared service requirements for TPx Services and developing these platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the P&L for the Shared Service Product Portfolio to include Portal, Visualization and Monitoring/Event/Alert Aggregation and Supporting systems
  • Engage with executive and senior executive stakeholders to identify customer needs and map them into the product roadmap.
  • Validating service outcomes and acceptance criteria with Product Managers to ensure all shared services meet Product Managers requirements across families
  • Ensure product controls are aligned and assessed against industry standard compliance and risk frameworks.
  • Manage, prioritize, and develop the product roadmap from business case creation – identifying key deliverables, dependencies, and benefits for our customers and the enterprise – through general availability and lifecycle management.
  • Leading an portal and web strategy team to develop a comprehensive vision for interacting with TPx through this medium
  • Provides technical and program oversight within the product portfolio.
  • Work closely with research and development (R&D) resources to ensure vendor solutions and in-house products are properly tested and vetted.
  • Manage dependencies within and outside the shared services.
  • Provides senior level presentations and ongoing reporting on these key products.
  • Sales enablement – Communicate the value proposition of the Shared Services across the entire product portfolio as well as the Portal value proposition for our customers, partners and agents
  • Delivers product details to the Learning and Development and Sales and Sales Support teams, including overall product messaging and storytelling objectives.
  • Interface with all sales channels to ensure product understanding and acceptance of feedback to be added into the product enhancement cycle.
  • Analyze internal and external performance data and utilize intelligence to further product enhancements, development and business planning initiatives

Other Responsibilities:

  • Assist Sales in competitive sale opportunities.
  • Assist Product Management and Operations in leveraging shared services and portal
  • Provide guidelines for pricing strategies and value propositions for service enhancements.
  • Work with various TPx teams on large opportunities that require a specific pricing strategy.
  • Contribute to the product development and ongoing management of all TPx services.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required to meet the business objectives of the Shared Services product portfolio

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or greater in Computer Science, Engineering or another technical discipline preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of increasing responsibility within consulting, professional services, product management and cybersecurity or related technical fields.
  • Strong experience with positioning and delivering Advisory and Professional Services product capabilities within varying customer environments.
  • 5+ years prior product management experience in a technology company or MSP, or 2+ years in a product management role.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certifications are given strong preference.
  • Or any equivalent combination of education and role experience.

  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communications skills, with ability to present content effectively to varying levels of business stakeholders, vendors, or customers.
  • Ability to shift from high-level thinking to realistic and pragmatic execution.
  • Willingness and ability to work with teams, including ability to build relationships using an open and respectful communication and collaboration style.
  • Current and relevant experience with cybersecurity vendors, tools, and technologies – RMM, EDR, MDR or XDR vendors; NGAV vendors; network security services; Fortinet and/or Cisco services; or any other security tools.
  • Experience with service-oriented architecture for Professional and Advisory services.
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end information technology (IT) process, including architecture, design & engineering, implementation, and operations
  • Experience performing security/system and network design reviews to assess implications for introduction of new or differing technologies within an environment.
  • Knowledge of information security standards (e.g. ISO 17799/27002, NIST, etc.) rules and regulations related to information security and data protection, and Cloud Security Alliance best practices and guidelines.
  • Experience integrating Consulting, Advisory and Professional services in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be proficient in the English language.
