UCL continues to invest significant funds towards implementing the right technology applications to further improve the operational efficiency of the PS Hub and enhance customer experience. • Reporting directly to the Vice President, Operations, the PS Hub Director will be a key member of the Operations Leadership team and will provide a positive, enabling environment for colleagues across UCL, including Students, Academics and Researchers.
• The PS Hub Director will lead the PS Hub in London with responsibility for the Heads of HR Services, Finance Services and Customer Services. With a current headcount of 250-260, UCL plans to add additional service areas and evolve the Hub in its journey towards a mature and fully functional Shared Services organisation.
• This exciting leadership role will partner with Professional Services Directors, the Faculty Operations leaders, and Academic Deans to ensure that the services provided are fit for purpose for all parts of UCL. The role will lead the development of the PS Hub Strategy over the medium term and develop annual plans based on UCL’s Strategic Plan UCL Strategic Plan 2022-2027

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Shared Services senior leader to join UCL. We are looking for the following experience and capabilty.

• Proven leadership experience with the ability to successfully engage with and influence stakeholders and customers.
• Establishing, improving and running a shared service centre ideally gained within a large, complex, matrix organisation.
• Experience of successfully leading cultural change projects and leading continuous service improvement in a shared service delivery context.
• Utilisation of enhancing technology solutions to deliver tangible service and efficiency improvements
• Experience of developing talent, creating career pathways and creating an engaging performance-orientated culture
