You will play a key leadership role within the organisation, acting as the Programme Director for business transformation, covering work across the globe and offering exciting challenges and exposure to some of the most innovative schemes in the marketplace.
Collaborating with multiple departments, you will oversee the development and implementation of a common operating model, SaaS technology platform, and a new shared service organisation. This role also involves managing the relationship with the current Business Process Outsourcing team, driving performance improvements, and preparing for future commercial activities in this space.
- Programme Leadership – Leading business critical initiatives for business transformation within the organisation whilst providing strategic leadership for the successful delivery of the those programmes and focusing on key components such as the common operating model, SaaS technology platform, and shared service organisation.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborating with senior stakeholders and external partners, demonstrating excellent communication skills to challenge assumptions and influence direction in a complex environment. Building consensus across a large and diverse group of stakeholders whilst fostering a culture of collaboration and inclusivity.
- Team Leadership – Leading and motivating a large team, fostering a diverse and inclusive working culture. Developing and implement strategies for team development and performance improvement across the wider Programme function.
- Business Process Outsourcing – Managing the relationship with the current outsourced supplier, overseeing performance and driving continuous improvements. Preparing for future commercial activities in the business process outsourcing space, ensuring readiness for potential transitions.
- Proven experience in leading transformation programmes, with a track record of developing clear vision and standards.
- Understanding of cultural aspects influencing major transformation programmes and their impact on benefit realisation.
- Successful history of working with a broad range of senior stakeholders and external partners in a complex environment.
- Strong people leadership skills, with a track record of developing, leading, and motivating large teams.
- Ability to work with ambiguity, manage conflict resolution, and maintain personal resilience in challenging situations.
- Defence sector experience is highly desirable.
