Our client is a renowned player within the manufacturing industry with a global presence for over a century. They are currently looking for Purchasing Manager (Shared Services) to join their dynamic team to assist in the business of the company.
- Lead and oversee the operational purchasing team, while monitoring the targets and metrics.
- Evaluate and implement new processes and systems to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance
- Lead the implementation and improvement of the Shared Service Center project across the Asia Pacific region.
- Drive and implement the Purchasing Strategy for the Asia Pacific Shared Service Center such as digitalisation projects etc.
- Monitor project implementation and initiate corrective actions if project targets are at risk.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a relevant field is required, with proficiency in English being mandatory.
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience in purchasing or procurement is essential, including people management and leadership experience, preferably in an international setting or Shared-Service Center (SSC) / Global Business Services (GBS).
- Experience in digitalization or process improvement projects, as well as managing global and regional stakeholders, is also necessary.
