The Director, Accounting will lead the Record to Report services for the Global hub and other regional services driving transitions; continuous improvement; and transformation agenda. The incumbent will implement and maintain systems of internal controls that will ensure that company assets are adequately safeguarded and all financial systems are in compliance with company policies & procedures, and regulatory guidelines and requirements. The Director, Accounting plays a critical role in shaping and building the finance and accounting function.

• Provide strategic leadership of short-and long-term goals through the use of thoughtful techniques in the communication of the company’s mission and core values as a means to implement positive change and/or create organizational structure within the assigned business unit(s)
• Manage stakeholder relationships for all R2R services being delivered from Manila site; Voice of Customer (VoC) and executive stakeholder engagement
• Lead operational efforts through subordinates to complete the administration of business processes and services to ensure the operations effective achievement of goals within the assigned business unit(s)
• Direct and control the broad activities of the business unit(s) through the interpretation, application and implementation of company-wide policies and processes appropriate to the functional area(s)
• Ensure that budgets and schedules are within company requirements with significant organizational responsibility for the overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, and expense priority management,recommending and implementing changes to current methods
• Ensure appropriate systems of internal controls,maintaining the integrity and accuracy of all financial reports
• Direct the activities related to month-, quarter-, and year-end consolidations, closings and/or financial statements
• Develop and implement new finance and/or accounting policies and procedures through continuous improvement efforts,ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), and other regulatory requirements
• May provide financial support and focus to executive management teams,serving as the division lead in cross-divisional meetings and projects
• Provide leadership, guidance and coaching for all direct reports to maintain an engaged and productive workforce,partnering with Human Resources on employee matters
• Collaborate with employees in the establishment of clear and concise development plans to ensure succession planning and the advancement of future leaders within the organization
• Primary contact and liaison with company’s external auditors: coordinate and manage the preparation of required schedules and documents•Assist with various projects as assigned by direct manager
• Other duties as assigned

• 5+years’ experienceas Associate Director/Director for R2R preferably in the shared services industry
• Extensive experience managing diverse teams across various accounting functions in multiple geographies•Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred
• Extensive experience managing all facets of Finance and Accounting
• Strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation and email applications
• Demonstrated proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP), corporate performance management (CPM), and analytical reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle Hyperion Enterprise, BEx, etc.)
• Concrete knowledge of GAAP, SOX and other regulatory requirements
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and staff personnel
• Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
