Somfy, a global leader in smart home automation, is seeking a Regional Accounting Director to lead accounting and finance operations across Central, Northern, and Eastern Europe. This is a key leadership role driving finance transformation, compliance, and process optimization in a multinational, matrixed organization.

• Oversee accounting operations across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Lead the deployment of SAP (S/4HANA) and establish Shared Services Centers (SSC).
• Optimize legal entity structures and finance processes to enhance efficiency and governance.
• Collaborate with cross-regional and global teams to align finance strategy with organizational goals.
• Manage internal and external audits, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
• Inspire and lead diverse accounting teams across the region.

• Proven experience managing accounting teams across multiple countries.
• Expertise in SAP systems (S/4HANA preferred) and finance transformation.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP in European regions.
• Minimum 10–15 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 in a leadership role.
• Fluent in English (additional European languages are a plus).
• Exceptional stakeholder management and leadership skills.
