Manage and develop the financial responsibilities of the Region. Partner of the Region Management to conduct its strategy, development and operations. Ensure respect of Group internal control procedures and financial regulations.

• The activities of the group in Asia Pacific (implemented in 9 countries and doing sales in more countries) are centered around Water treatment with a focus on technologies and sustainability, executing projects and delivering services and products to a large panel of customers and industries.
• The CFO defines the financial strategy and goals in line with the strategy of growth of the region and communicate them to the finance community
• Supervise the finance functions, guaranteeing the quality of information supplied to other departments and the respect of deadlines. Develop relevant analysis of the businesses profitability, Ensure the appropriate application of the internal control rules in all the processes
• Business partner, works with the CEO of the region and countries directors on business profitability , growth ,business plans, large offers, financial checks of partners, implementation of a strong control frame
• Meet Group requirements in terms of reporting, ensure at all levels of the finance organization the quality of the interfaces with the Group’s headquarters.
• Manage capital needs, treasury and financial risks in compliance with Group procedures
• Manage the budgeting/forecasting process at regional level, ensuring a complete efficient and harmonized budget process in all the business units
• Supervise multi-countries shared service centers , streamline the processes, accountable for the quality, accuracy and level of services P2P, O2C, GL transactions, management and statutory accounts, tax audits, ensure the optimization of Group’s tax efficiency.
• Participate in the validation of choices related to IT systems and applications linked to the production of the financial information (including operations systems)
• Evaluate and develop the competencies of the local finance teams
• The Regional CFO reports directly to the region’s CEO and, additionally, reports to the Group CFO for broader financial oversight and alignment with the global financial strategy. He/She is a member of the Executive committee of the region, and a member of the finance executive committee of the Group.
• The position of Regional CFO is based in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and encompasses the APAC region of the company. This includes key markets such as China, Australia and Southeast Asian countries.
• Manage a team of about 50 people spread over several countries in APAC covering all finance functions (Accounting, taxes, Budget control, Treasury, consolidation reporting, Internal control and compliance).

• Thorough knowledge of economic/financial topics and management rules
• Strong knowledge of IFRS rules , manage local accounting Gaps and reporting in IFRS, strong personal involvement required in accounting, tax, budget processes – intercompany transactions (Service Agreements/ invoicing / Transfer pricing documentation ) – In-depth knowledge of internal control processes & Compliance requirements.
• Capacity to adapt to a multi -cultural environment and to absorb knowledge of multi countries finance/ legal local contexts.
• Ability to work with the other functional areas of the entity on non-financial issues, good communicant
• Master’s degree in economics and finance or equivalent
• Five years in position of regional CFO or senior C.F.O of a large organization and in an international context
• Experience in managing a team
• Fluent in English
