Our client is a global professional services business headquartered in the UK and has been in operations for close to 50 years. They are present in over 30 countries and have been in Malaysia for close to 15 years. The group is publicly listed on the London Stock Exchange and it is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.

As the business increases its footprint in APAC, they have recently set up their regional hub here in KL to support 12 markets, including China, Japan, Australia and SEA countries. With this business decision, we are currently partnering exclusively with our client to recruit for a number of key positions within the marketing function.

This role will have a direct line management of 2. This role sits on the business’ global CRM leadership team that supports delivery of the future direction for CRM within the business, as well as the APAC Channel Marketing Leadership team.

Have overall responsibility for regional execution of the global CRM strategy including

  • Working with the Head of Channel Marketing for APAC and regional business partners, to create and deliver a CRM plan and strategy to deliver against customer retention and engagement goals for 12 markets in APAC.
  • Partner with the Global CRM product team in the development and optimisation of client and candidate lifecycles
  • Manage and balance demand for global support and local campaigns based on resource and business impact
  • Understand business needs and identify opportunities to mine our database
  • Lead and monitor the audience analysis and segmentation projects
  • Drive the ongoing benchmark analysis
  • Manage a regular reporting process, using lead and lag metrics to measure effectiveness of programme and course correct where necessary
  • Manage two direct report responsible for planning, scheduling, testing and deployment of email campaigns
  • Analyse results and propose enhancements on lifecycles and adhoc campaigns to maximise ROI within the Global CRM roadmap
  • Work with the compliance team to make sure that we are processing all GDPR data requests and are complying with the regulations.
  • Work with Head of Digital, APAC and (Senior) Content Manager, APAC to drive a consistent and optimised customer experience across various channels
  • Being open to working outside of usual working hours to accommodate different time zones and ensure timely responses to regional or global requests
  • Fluency in English and an additional language is a plus (Mandarin)
  • 8+ years of experience in email marketing and/or CRM campaign implementation and management.
  • Ideally previous experience in Shared Services, and collaborating with global and local teams remotely.
  • Superior project management skills and strategic thinking
  • Excellence on usage of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot or similar e-mail marketing tools
  • Working experience with Jira or other project management tools
  • Working experience with Tableau, Power BI or other reporting tools
  • Excellent collaboration skills, working across the broader Channel Marketing team to drive results
  • Customer focus
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to produce reports and provide strategic recommendations motivated by data
  • Experience working with segmentation and email marketing platforms
  • High level of motivation and initiative, the ability to motivate the team and to anticipate company’s needs
  • Experience working in an international multi-brand company with multiple stakeholders is advantageous.
