This position is responsible for promoting the mission of the BBB through strategic relationships, identifying and pursuing new opportunities, coordination with outreach and media and teams and more.
- In collaboration with the Marketing and Communications team, develop and implement a comprehensive community and public relations strategy to enhance the organization’s reputation and visibility within the local community.
- Oversee local aspects of media relations, including building relationships with journalists.
- Manage and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders, business partners, influencers, and government officials.
- Develop innovative strategies to promote the organization’s mission, programs and service to target audience.
- In collaboration with the outreach team, promote community outreach programs to increase awareness of the organization’s work.
- Represent the organizations on collaborative initiatives to benefit the community.
- Assist with the development and implementation of new BBB programs and initiatives, including ignite Sparked by BBB.
- Serve as a key contact for the regional advisory Board of Directors.
Senor-level management experience; experience in managing and overseeing multiple successful programs simultaneously; ability to build and cultivate strong relationships with businesses, organizations and key stakeholders; excellent communication skills to deliver presentations, conduct meetings and represent BBB effectively in various settings; ability to achieve regional goals and solve problems effectively; strong understanding of business ethics and best practices; familiarity with Central California and Inland Empire business landscape with an understanding of the region’s economic climate, key industries and business challenges.
