A leading European Shipping MNC that has been expanding their SEA footprint through acquisitions in the last few years, they are currently in the process of amalgamation and looking to optimise their structure to further support their strategic growth. There is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead their APAC finance team as the Regional Finance Director.

As the key finance leader supporting the Operations Director, you will head up the finance team with responsibilities in the full spectrum of their group finance and corporate activities including consolidation, financial and management reporting, forecasting and budgeting, cash flow management, treasury and taxation matters. As an instrumental part of the management team you will also act as a key business partner to the senior management in all commercial activities and provide business decision support. You will take the lead in being a change agent to drive their post-acquisition integration process including streamlining of in-country finance structure and workflow alongside the newly-established overseas shared services team; and systems implementation.

You are ideally degree qualified with CPA and at least 15 years of relevant financial controllership experience, with past successes in driving finance transformation. You are comfortable being hands-on given the lean structure and a proven finance leader with a strategic mindset to influence positive change. You are independent, confident and possess the maturity to deal with stakeholders of different cultures and backgrounds. You are comfortable to travel across the region and can look forward to a flexible work arrangement.
