You as an individual contributor would be responsible for all aspects of regional treasury function with focus on managing currency exposure, banking relationships, subsidiary cash flow reporting & analysis, funding & cash management.
Transaction Exposure
- Monthly process of managing currency exposure including analysing reporting and flow changes.
- Doing spot FX transactions on behalf of subsidiaries
- Treasury accounting advisory and analysing FX impact
- Feeding research and related analytical information for decision making to business units
Credit/Liquidity management
- Helping arranges external/internal funding to various subsidiaries.
- Managing in-country liquidity ensuring excess liquidity is moved to internal bank at parent.
- Cash flow management across subsidiaries. This includes working with Cashforce application system used for consolidation and analysis of cash flow statement.
Systems, Controlling/Compliance
- Treasury policy governance and enforcement
- Management of power of attorneys in relation to banking authorisations
- Key stakeholder in SAP rollout/ enhancement initiatives in region
- Treasury Management system user – CashForce, Wallstreet Suite
- Reuters Eikon system user
Bank relationships
- Owner of all banking relationships
- Transaction fee arrangement and follow up
- Bank accounts monitoring and control
- Documentation negotiation, updations and warehousing
Capital Structure
- Evaluate dividend distributions in collaboration with tax team
- Balance sheet management as regards debt/equity
Working Capital solutions
- Working with supplier financing solutions together with HO treasury and global teams in terms of program management and new rollouts.
Risk Management/New Business Models
- Optimise risks in payment/receivables process focusing on fraud prevention.
- E-commerce and new business model initiatives
Continuous Improvements/Process efficiency
- Key driver of process efficiency in various areas of treasury processes
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or other relevant disciplines
- Previous experience in region of APMEA in a medium scale commercial environment
- 6-8 experience of working in multinational organizations will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of Chinese language is preferable.
