Our growing company is looking for a key position that will be responsible for the leadership and oversight of the corporate accounting function. This role will identify automation and enhancement opportunities that drive continuous improvement initiatives, specifically around processes and systems, including further development and execution of finance, accounting, and shared service integrations.

• Oversee team that produces monthly financial statements in Sage Intacct
• Identify process improvements, including standardization, enhancements and potential automation of existing processes and systems. Promotes best practices over financial and non-financial information across the accounting organization.
• Delivers and reports on KPI metrics for functions that will identify opportunities and enhance visibility for business strategies.
• Assists in the financial close processes and related reporting deliverables, including reviewing all reconciliations and ensuring the accuracy of the financials.
• Support acquisition and growth initiatives and the integration of in-scope functions, including further development and execution of finance, accounting, and shared service approaches and strategies for future deals/projects.
• Lead, manage, and train a strong team to drive the company’s growth. Provide accounting assistance to management and employees related to research, expense analysis, and procedures.
• Lead the year-end planning process for annual financial statement audit and assist with related tax return preparation.

• 5+ years of supervisory accounting experience required.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidations required.
• Experience in managing a year-end financial statement audit required.
• Experience in a Shared Services environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of U.S GAAP and implementing and maintaining a strong control environment
• Experience with complex cross-functional accounting and ERP projects
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and be accountable to take on new tasks with high level of difficulty.
• Creative thinking and problem-solver
• Experience in Sage Intacct preferred
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly
• The ability to effectively balance the desire/need for change with an understanding of how much change the organization is capable of handling and to create realistic goals and implementation plans that are achievable and successful
