Our client a Shared Services division in the automotive industry, requires a seasoned Senior Credit Controller The applicant will need to be comfortable to handle a debtor’s book of 250 accounts with a book value of approximately R25 000 000.

• Ensure timely collection of outstanding debts
• Implement the company’s policies and procedures to minimize credit risk and improve cash flow
• Monitor customer accounts and negotiate payment terms to maintain positive relationship with debtors
• Reconcile complex accounts
• Effectively manage collections to ensure targets are met
• Resolve internal and external queries
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports that needs to be submitted to management when necessary

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Motor Industry experience, preferably in the Shared Services
• 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Evolve (DMS System) experience it will be a major advantage
• Excellent management and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Sound knowledge of financial analysis and credit control systems

QUALIFICATION:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Relevant Finance or Accounting diploma
