The GBS Office / PMO will work closely with the Head of GBS to oversee and manage the organization’s operations, strategic initiatives, and internal communications. This role requires a highly organized, strategic thinker who can handle complex situations and multiple responsibilities simultaneously, mixing long-term projects with the urgency of immediate demands.
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Assist the Head of GBS in developing and implementing strategic plans.
- Oversee major projects and initiatives to ensure alignment with the business goals.
- Monitor progress towards strategic objectives and provide regular updates to the Leadership team
Operational Management
- Manage daily operations and coordinate the execution of key business initiatives.
- Facilitate the flow of information between the Head of GBS and other senior leaders.
- Ensure that operational and administrative tasks are completed efficiently.
Leadership Support
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Head of GBS and other senior leaders.
- Prepare the Head of GBS for meetings, including gathering necessary information and developing briefing materials.
- Represent the Head of GBS in meetings and events as needed.
Communication and Liaison
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the Head of GBS and internal/external stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication within the Leadership team and across the organization.
- Draft and review communications from the GBS office.
Project Management
- Lead special projects and cross-functional initiatives.
- Coordinate project teams, assign responsibilities, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Monitor project progress and report on key milestones and deliverables.
Team Leadership and Development
- Oversee and mentor a team of direct reports.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Identify and address development needs within the team.
Problem Solving and Decision Making
- Proactively identify issues and provide solutions.
- Support the Head of GBS in decision-making processes by providing insights and analysis.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience
- 7+ years of experience in a senior management role, preferably in operations, project management, or strategy; GBS industry experience preferred

- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Working Conditions
- This role may require working outside of standard office hours.
