Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
- Owning the strategic initiatives of GBS Dalian in terms of “define, implement, improve and control” linked to GBS strategic roadmap
- Be responsible and accountable for GBS Dalian operation performance to deliver excellent customer and user experience, drive high quality and perfect execution via continuous improvement, deliver and/or support value and solution creation in terms of enable top line and/or deliver integral (productivity) savings and talent engagement & development
- As legal representative of the entity from financial and legal aspects
- Overall be responsible for GBS Dalian service delivery adidas APAC, Greater China markets and other central functions
- Support and drive the GBS transformation, organization capability & competence buildup for Dalian location
- Drive integral value chain and process approach to support process simplification, standardization and automation working closely with Global Process Owners and relevant Markets and Functions
- Manage GBS Dalian budget and run operation with cost optimization
GBS Dalian Center Operation & Service Delivery Management
- Define, develop and implement the strategic initiatives in GBS Dalian in line with Adidas OTG strategy and Global GBS strategic initiatives
- Ensure “receiving” the transition from sending organizations to deliver high quality operation
- Prepare SME to work closely with GBS Transition Management team on transition impact assessment
- Be in charge of inbound team hiring and training to secure resource readiness for Knowledge Transfer
- Proactively work with different transition stakeholders to drive transition executed according to methodology and transition plan
- Take ownership of work quality of inbound team to ensure a smooth transition of all streams operation into the hub
- Build up center competence and develop people
- Work closely with GBS global leadership, all stream GPO and HR on GBS Dalian organization design
- Be role model, lead and coach the GBS Dalian hub management team on driving an adequate deployment of the GBS standards and mindset across all operational teams
- Own and drive GBS Dalian people development and employee engagement
- Deliver services in accordance with established standard processes
- Coordinate with GBS different functional services organization and drive decisions towards adoption and implementation of standard processes to limit deviations to the minimum, ensuring constant revision and improvement of operations
- Implement and execute the aligned governance framework for GBS Dalian and drive change requests of new solution utilization across all GBS organization
- lead the transformation to the GBS service deliverables in accordance with the Global GBS Operating Model
- Be center of excellence to be in front line of global process or system change implementation
- Drive complex issue resolution and high customer satisfaction
- Ensure GBS Dalian services level and tasks delivered in line with SLA and KPI
- Address on-going requirements raised by markets and global functions and drive for solutions under standard template
- Actively lead GBS team be interfaced with market strategy and provide value added services accordingly
- Drive for team performance improvement linked to NPS
- Deliver high quality of performance and services to stakeholders (customers, partners, employees and suppliers). Drive continuous improvement & efficiency delivery through process standardization, harmonization as well as automation development and execution. Be champion of problem solving and lean to strengthen the overall services and quality of the organization locally and globally
- Support Controlling to perform budget/forecast process and drive financial targets for GBS Dalian
- Work closely with different internal and external parties i.e. Non-Trade Procurement, IT, Real Estate, landlord, etc. to ensure office infrastructure setup and equipped for on-going operation and organization growth
- Be part of the leadership team in Global GBS organization as a thought leader
Legal Responsibilities & Government Relationship Management
- Be General Manager and FD of adidas Business Services Dalian legal entity, and the on-site lead to act Legal Rep by following adidas and GBS approval matrix and authorization
- Ensure that all operations comply with relevant local laws (general and labor) respecting office setup, Labor Union request, team compliance, health and safety of all employees
- Proactively address challenges / risks in the internal and external environment to protect business interests
- Own Statutory Accounts of the legal entity
- Establish strong relationships with government officials, regulators and stakeholders (e.g. Landlord) in areas of importance to GBS Dalian businesses
Key Markets Finance Representative from GBS
- Sign or have delegates to sign RL to key relevant markets (e.g. Greater China and APAC) FDs
- Own and lead in scope finance operation and accounting process for relevant markets
- Safeguard in scope for relevant finance operation and accounting process and GAAP compliance in day to day operation and enhancement business or system project implementation

- Understanding of E2E-processes in GBS (all streams)
- Ability to think strategically, synthesize complex situation and develop innovative solutions within and changing environment
- Ability to work and deliver in changing environments, under limited guidance while adhering to specified deadlines
- Ability to guide teams in a trustful and proficient manner
- Complete familiarity with Microsoft Office or equivalent tools
- Ability to manage complexity and diverse senior stakeholders
- Multi-lenses business acumen and knowledge from various business areas is required
- Vision and skills to define guidelines for solution building & delivery
- Taking accountability for process quality, process review, compliance and status of enhancement projects / streams
- Strong motivation and skills to drive standardization and efficiency within their process area
- Diverse leadership and great interpersonal skill
- Knowing China/Dalian government affairs etiquette and protocols
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachler degree or equivalent experience, preferable in finance or business
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in GBS in scope functions
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in management positions
- SSC or GBS leadership experience highly preferred
- Lean practitioner or equivalent
- Strong experience in process improvement or transformation programs
- Retail business experience highly preferred
- Be able to frequently travel
