The Sr. Director of Human Resources will make key contributions to the People Team, leading the transformation of the HR department. Strategy & Leadership
- Is a trusted member of the leadership team, partnering with each department head to align TurnPoint’s People/HR strategy to achieve corporate priorities.
- Able to translate strategic business plans into HR strategy and operations plans.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the organization on all human resources matters, drives to resolve the people practice, policy, and compliance challenges of a rapidly growing organization.
- Lead and manage a team of HR professionals providing services consisting of HRIS, Benefits, M&A, HR Solution Center, and HR Operations teams.
Administration/Compliance
- Oversee TurnPoint’s HR shared services team, ensuring service level agreements to employees and functional partners are maintained or exceeded.
- Maintain a systems approach to HR and HR technology, drive for seamless integrations, and a consumer-grade employee/manager experience. Understand the business case for investing in systems and tools that remove friction and increase the efficiency of employees and leaders.
- Oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; recognition, and engagement.
- Develop and implement scalable HR solutions to solve systemic issues.
- Draft, implement, and manage the overall budget for the human resources department.
- Liaise with vendors and support teams to obtain cost-effective employee benefits, manage renewal decisions, and monitor benefits environment for options aimed at employee satisfaction and retention.
Change Management & Organizational Effectiveness
- Facilitate and lead implementation of change management strategies for HR initiatives.
- Ability to lead organization transformation and partner with the leadership team in elevating the performance of the business.
- Design strategic initiatives to ensure organizational effectiveness with a specific focus on functional strategy and operating model to drive enterprise contribution, impact, and value.
- Provide strategic leadership to ensure effective organization design, structure, and staffing models.
- Drive engagement, retention, organizational health, and culture initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 12 – 15 years of human resource management experience required in distributed businesses.
- Experience leading transformational change and/or operating in progressive, rapidly growing organizations.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred.
