Reporting to the VP, of Human Resources, The Senior Director, of People Technology & shared Services is responsible for the employee life cycle experience of 4000+ clinicians, teammates, contractors, and leaders within the company engaging with Workday and other people systems on a day-to-day basis.

Leadership & Development

  • Establish and maintain positive, productive, and collaborative relationships with internal and external partners to support an engaged and inclusive culture and advance the company’s strategic objectives and business goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of experienced professionals to ensure the continuous growth and enhancement of the overall employee experience, HR processes, people operations, and alignment of policies and procedures.
  • Execution and maintenance of data storage to design and deliver metrics, reports, and dashboards, providing strategic analysis of workforce data, to support data-driven decision-making within HR and the organization.
  • Foster a high-performing and engaged team with the ability to understand and document requirements needed to implement changes and updates to the system.
  • Demonstrate project management skills with the ability to see integration points and interdependencies among related projects, sequence initiatives to optimize resources, and anticipate potential risks or concerns. Determine priorities and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.

HR Shared Services

  • Provide leadership and oversight to ensure effective, fair, and efficient execution of operational plans aligned with goals, applicable laws, federal, state, and local regulations, and governmental requirements. Improve the company’s capability through a planned process to align various aspects of the company to meet its goals.
  • Assess HR operational needs and policy/procedure changes to ensure efficiencies. Organize, and coordinate the operations and activities related to the human resources operations and functions on a system-wide level.
  • Serve as a liaison to the COEs as well as a central point of contact for interdepartmental projects and communications related to HR business operations.
  • Responsible for the service level tiered customer support, client services center metrics, performance metrics, and other HR data trend analysis
  • Deliver qualitative and quantitative reporting to assess effectiveness and efficiencies that consistently improve workflow efficiency, customer service quality, and overall employee experience.
  • Improve the foundation for data to ensure the usefulness of analytics and data integrity.
  • Coordinates and connects cross-functional areas to ensure technology and processes are aligned to deliver a cohesive and exceptional employee experience.
  • Deliver optimized and best-in-class transition programs to include onboarding and off-boarding programs that prioritize employee engagement, accelerated productivity and ensure a streamlined procedure that focuses on knowledge transfer.
  • Lead cross-functional projects or initiatives designed to address systemic challenges that will inhibit growth at the organization. Maintain strong relationships with clients and ownership of clients’ success providing appropriate and accurate metrics.
  • Maintain and share awareness of current trends in HR technology and understand statutory and regulatory requirements that may impact people operations.

HR Technology

  • Manage the deployment, security, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of Workday.
  • Lead the configuration, enhancements, and support for all Workday modules, collaborating with the Center of Excellence leader and subject matter experts to ensure end-user needs are met and business processes are simple and efficient.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy via ongoing governance and audits.
  • Work with project teams to ensure requirements are accurate, clear, and understood.
  • Transform HR Technology with a focus of quality, innovation, automation and the improvement of operational efficiency.

Change Management

  • Lead team and coordinate with functional users and IT in the review, testing, and implementation of Workday upgrades or patches.
  • Ensure the team creates and maintains ongoing supporting documentation.
  • Ensure effective internal controls are in place.
  • Understand business strategies, and HR strategies, and provide recommendations utilizing current or new functionalities.
  • Lead HR enterprise projects to include planning, testing, and implementation of HR systems and modules. Create and deliver any HR-related training and performance support to ensure understanding of HR systems and processes.
  • Assist in resolving user how-to questions and develop training documentation as necessary to minimize reoccurrences of user error and provide periodic training for end users on system processes and procedures.
  • Manage system releases and updates, which includes researching functionality, conducting testing, ensuring collaboration with IT and external resources as needed, and communicating options for changes or enhancements as applicable.
  • Provide end-user troubleshooting, issue remediation, technology request assistance, and escalation management, using ticketing and/or tracking systems, monitor reoccurring issues, system/data, or process gaps and proactively identify potential sources of increased efficiency and enhancements.
  • Communicate system-related enhancements, releases, and upgrades.
  • Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical client (internal & external) contacts.
  • Effectively communicate and manage expectations of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Strategy & Planning

  • Provide proactive strategic leadership through the comprehensive HR Service delivery model. Lead and strengthen the development and deployment of client services strategies to enhance capabilities and keep up to date with HR trends and industry changes to provide proposed strategies in order to meet current and future business needs.
  • Develop and maintain strategic and operational plans to support alignment with strategic objectives, initiatives, mission, vision, core values and goals. Continuously scan the environment to evaluate and strategically respond to developments/changes affecting HR shared services.
  • Maintain alignment with the HR strategic plan with company’s goals, initiatives and scorecard.
  • Implement and sustain creative solutions to provide accurate metrics to stakeholders.
  • Partner with other HR functions to identify programs, data, systems and process opportunities for HR staff and all employees.
  • Leverage growth and scale opportunities within the team through process improvements, efficiencies and sustainable strategies.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Human Resources, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and off-site meetings.
  • PHR or SHRM Certification a plus, but not required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in-depth relevant professional experience in shared services and HR systems including the technical and functional components of Human Resources in a complex organization.
  • Experience in a Healthcare Organization preferred.
  • Reside in Florida
  • Ability to work across multiple geographies in a virtual working environment, fully utilizing technology and communication tools.
  • Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills, strong partnering/relationship-building skills.
  • Strong prioritization and project management skills demonstrated skill in the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to identify gaps in business requirements and ask the right questions to fill in gaps,
  • Demonstrated focus on the user experience while within HR systems, strong customer service, and attention to detail,
  • Self-motivated and well-adapted to meet deadlines with speed, accuracy, and professional behavior/demeanor.
  • Ability to think strategically and anticipate potential challenges before they occur or escalate.
  • Operate with discretion and discernment when working with highly sensitive data.
