To lead Cencora’s newly established and growing Shared Service Centre. This role will set and drive the SSC strategy and contribute to the prioritization of investments and development of this site in close cooperation with the management team.
- Responsible for overall site governance, strategy, growth, and operations.
- Leading the established India Management board in a dotted line approach.
- Act as primary point of contact and key strategic partner for the Cencora business unit or functional leaders in a matrix-oriented organisation with multiple international locations.
- Build a strong collaborative culture, ensuring cohesion and unity for all employees with a variety of reporting lines and business units.
- Leadership of the change process, driving continuous improvement through recommendations on enhanced cost effectiveness opportunities where possible.
- Responsible for budgets, costs, resources, and delivery performance for the site.
- Identify, plan, and proactively drive future growth in the office.
- In coordination with the management teams, ensure staff are motivated, developed and appraised so that individual and collective performance meet the targets.
- Ensure alignment with Cencora strategy, business priorities and customer needs.
- Drive the pursuit of insourcing currently outsourced work within Cencora, as well as identifying opportunities across the enterprise to shift work to lower-cost locations.
- Own the business case for further expansion needs of the site.
- Pursue all funding and training grant opportunities and establish a clear end-to-end process to ensure optimal utilization.
- Identify shared service center best practices and implement within the India site, so we are a leader in the field.
- Optimize and implement standard, globally consistent processes and facilitate the integration of new activities for all employees in the office location.
- Support the transition of the shared services from the countries/departments/functions to the SSC.
- Participate in the development and execution of training, providing feedback as needed to management on additional opportunities for development.
- Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with Cencora guidelines, code of conduct, policies, procedures, controls, and legal requirements.
- Minimum master’s degree in business
- At least 8+ years of relevant experience in a similar leadership role within international environment
- Previous experience with U.S. multinational organization(s) preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability and confidence to operate at senior levels with company stakeholders.
- Exceptional Stakeholder management
- Excellent understanding of the critical success factors for the site as a reliable, effective and efficient business service provider
- Budget, cost & performance management
- Proven people management and development skills
- Full professional proficiency of written and oral English required
- Willing to travel and international mind-set.
