We are looking for a Senior Employee Relations Manager to be based in our Hyderabad Shared Capability Centre and lead both on site employee relations matters and support in creating a positive employee relations function.
As the Senior Employee Relations Manager as part of our Global HR Operations team at our Global Capability Service Centre in India, you will initially lead the employee relations function at the site. This role is pivotal in shaping and driving our employee relations strategy for the site initially and longer term will support our global employee relations operations and as such the role will require you to be hands-on with operational delivery.
You will be responsible for managing complex employee relations issues, including investigations, whistleblowing cases, and broader employee grievances, while also establishing strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple countries as part of the Flutter group and on the Hyderabad site.

- Operational Delivery: Actively manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including but not limited to investigations, whistleblowing cases, and employee grievances.
- Leadership and Setup: Lead the setup and establishment of the employee relations function in India in conjunction with the UK counterpart, ensuring alignment with global standards and best practices with the ER .
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong, effective relationships with key stakeholders across multiple countries, including HR, legal, and leadership teams, to ensure a consistent and collaborative approach to employee relations.
- Strategic Guidance: Provide strategic advice and guidance on employee relations matters, supporting the development of policies and processes that align with our company’s values and business objectives.
- Team Leadership: As the function grows, lead and mentor a team of ER professionals, fostering a high-performance culture that emphasizes continuous improvement and best practice.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data and analytics to identify trends and insights, driving proactive solutions to mitigate risk and improve employee experience.
- Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to build ER capability within the broader HR team and the business.
- Extensive experience in leading an Employee Relations function, preferably within a multinational or complex organizational environment, including management and coaching of ER professionals in a global context.
- Proven track record in setting up and establishing ER functions, particularly in new or growing markets, ideally in India
- Dedicated understanding of employment & labor law knowledge in India and wider global contexts as needed.
- Strong operational experience with hands-on delivery of ER activities, including investigations, whistleblowing and grievance handling.
- Comfortable “getting stuck in” to some of the complex cases
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
- A thorough understanding of Indian employment law and regulations, along with experience in managing ER issues across multiple jurisdictions.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
