The Senior Executive is responsible for managing end to end the Accounts payable processes, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements across business units/regions. This role is responsible for driving initiatives for process standardization, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, and supporting automation and continuous improvement initiatives within Accounts payable function.

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop the AP team, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Monitor the tasks allocation and manage team performance such as invoice processing time, payment accuracy, and issue resolution
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and intercompany transactions
  • Identify inefficiencies and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance AP process efficiency and accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks (SOX compliance)
  • Prepare and present AP performance reports, including metrics such as payment accuracy, invoice aging, and processing cycle times. Optimize the use of ERP systems (QAD) and drive AP automation tools
  • Sox Compliance.
  • Required to support the implementation of an upgraded ERP system for the Finance module

Requirements

Academic/Professional Education

CA or CWA (Semi Qualified)/ MBA Finance

Relevant Experience

Candidate must have a minimum of 7 to 10 years’ experience with at least 3 to 5 years in Finance shared services organization
