Work Shift
1 – First Shift
Are you the type of person with the skills to drive standardization and efficiencies in transactional finance areas? In this role you will manage the Accounts Payable, Invoicing and Warranty Administration teams, while collaborating with subsidiaries to achieve consistency and/or centralization across entities. We’re looking for someone that will advance the business through process improvement and talent development.
1. Provide leadership and management of our Shared Services teams, while coaching and developing our Finance Lead positions that have direct daily responsibility for their team.
2. Develop and translate company strategy into operational goals and daily objectives within the Shared services team. 3. Direct the team with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to create efficiencies and standardization, allowing for processes to be scaled up as needed to grow with the business.
4. Coordinate with the Accounting and Systems teams to understand the impact of transactions on company financials and requirements within financial systems.
5. Build relationships with other departments to be able to implement change cross functionally, while also considering impacts to suppliers and customers.
6. Oversee the process of spending authorizations and approval limits to ensure compliance with policies. Identify areas of control weakness and work with internal audit to implement solutions
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or related field with a minimum of seven years management experience of a transactional finance area; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
– Experience managing remote workers.
– ERP systems experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
– Understanding of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) and internal controls
