Our client is a leading global provider. It focuses on the procurement, distribution and optimization of aftermarket products in order to efficiently serve customers in various markets.
- Responsibility for the entire end-to-end stream across policies, process model, technology and performance metrics.
- Design, implementation and migration of processes into a Shared Service Center (SSC), including operation and optimization within the global framework: Purchase-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to- Report , Master Data.
- Taking over governance for end-to-end solutions, including the business model and innovation processes (e.g. through IT solutions).
- Collaborate with business process owners and stakeholders across all business units and regions to ensure global process adoption and compliance.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for standardization and simplification through the use of automation and technology.
- Support in designing the target IT landscape, including digital solutions and roadmap for their implementation.
- Monitoring IT system risks, dependency assessments and due diligence.
- Establish and maintain a strong internal control environment for accounting processes to comply with SOX regulations and other relevant standards.
- Development and monitoring of KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of regional processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.
- Ensuring the correct application of the design methodology in all areas (processes & controls, HR, service management, etc.).
- Provision of reports and updates to steering committees and decision-making bodies (e.g. ExCom, FinCom).
- Conducting pre-stage gate reviews with the project manager Phoenix.
- Monitoring the entire project budget and business case implementation.
- Act as a change agent to promote the introduction of new processes and technologies throughout the company.
- Degree in accounting or finance; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Several years of relevant professional experience in accounting and finance, with a focus on process design and optimization.
- Proven experience leading and implementing process improvement initiatives in a global organization, ideally with experience in shared services migration.
- In-depth knowledge of SOX regulations and internal control frameworks.
- Experience with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics Finance modules and related financial reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills as well as the ability to persuade and build consensus at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
