As a Senior Counsel, Litigation at our company, you will play a crucial role in managing litigation cases within our product divisional claims departments. You will provide expert legal advice and guidance to key stakeholders in various shared services departments, including Human Services, Chief Operations Office, Procurement, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs and initiatives.

• Support and manage litigation case management, ensuring proper handling of all legal matters related to claims departments.
• Advise and provide legal guidance to key stakeholders in shared services departments on a wide range of legal issues and initiatives.
• Work closely with claims department and other business partners to analyze and resolve complex coverage issues and disputes.
• Participate in mediations, negotiate settlements, and draft settlement agreements.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide proactive legal counsel.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active membership in the State Bar of Washington or the ability to gain admission promptly.
• X+ years of experience in litigation, preferably within a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of insurance coverage and claims management practices.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to provide clear and practical legal advice.
