We are looking for an Accounting Manager who can help achieve branch and corporate financial reporting and management goals.   • Manage the accounting team across multiple branches and systems
  • Manage the Billing, Collections and Accounts Receivables functions
  • Lead advancement projects and development of team members
  • Manage a team of 10+ in multiple locations.
  • Manage income statement, including accrual accounting, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Ensures timely and accurate monthly accounting close
  • Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation and analysis of major balance sheets and income statement accounts
  • Main point of contact between branches and the regional and corporate accounting teams
  • Coordinate with departments to resolve issues especially warehouse, purchasing, and sales
  • Work with and educate department managers on financial results and opportunities
  • Assist in preparing internal management review packages and effectively communicate risks
  • Assist in the coordination of the annual budget for the branches
  • Gather and record details for Daily key performance indicators (KPI)
  • Rebate oversight and accounting
  • Prepare ad-hoc analyses as needed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5-10 years of progressive accounting experience
  • 5-10 years of experience in successfully managing a team
  • Thorough knowledge of GAAP
  • Experience working in a shared-service environment where key business functions (cash management, disbursements, rebate accounting) are handled at a corporate level.
  • Experience with an ERP system
  • Computer Proficiency; Microsoft Office, Emphasis on Excel skills and utilizing Accounting Software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, without losing attention to detail
  • Proactively look to improve on processes; never satisfied with the status quo
  • Adaptable to multiple and frequent changes in business environment
  • Position requires travel up to 25%
