The Senior Manager – AR will lead the team responsible for managing accounts receivable and play a pivotal role in the Shipping Freight sector of the Transport & Distribution industry.

• Lead the Accounts Receivable (AR) team to ensure timely and accurate processing of AR transactions.
• Responsible for delivering Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and overdue targets across multiple countries.
• Develop and implement robust AR processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Manage customer relationships, addressing escalated AR issues, and resolving disputes efficiently.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and operations departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Ensure seamless AR operations, particularly in multi-country environments, including exposure to Middle Eastern markets.
• Monitor and analyze AR metrics for continuous improvement and optimization of processes.
• Experience in the shipping industry preferred to understand customer behavior and address disputes.
• Work closely with the Accounting and Finance department on AR-related projects and reporting.
• Drive cross-departmental initiatives, representing the AR function to contribute to overall financial strategy.
• Handle AR-related compliance with regulatory requirements and company guidelines.
• Foster collaboration and teamwork within the AR function to achieve operational and strategic goals.

A successful ‘Senior Manager – Accounts Receivables | Shared Service ‘ should have:

• 15+ years of overall experience in the Accounting & Finance sector
• Open to Mumbai as a location,
• Preferably candidate should come with experience working in the Shipping Freight sector of the Transport & Distribution industry
