The Team You Will Be a Part Of
The Business HR team implements the organization’s human resource strategy so that the organization attracts, manages, develops and retains the employees it needs to achieve its current and future business objectives. Evaluate the organization’s future workforce needs in order to recommend changes to the HR strategy and adapt existing HR programs to meet these needs.

This Role In Summary
We are currently seeking a dynamic Human Resources change agent to provide all aspects of people leadership to drive growth and productivity in a highly matrixed environment. In this HR Business Leadership role, you will build, deploy and execute strategic talent initiatives and utilize global centers of excellence (COEs), shared services, and analytics to support business needs.   • Serve as the HR business partner to the manufacturing site leader, as part of the plant leadership team, and support to all people leaders at the location.
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement and effective change management as the People Development Pillar Lead driving the people strategy through our business operation system, World Class Manufacturing (WCM).
  • Partner with HR Operations and Centers of Expertise (COEs) to enable two-way information sharing on business needs. Analyze trends and metrics within designated business units, to give insight into and deploy integrated solutions, programs, and policies in support of business strategy.
  • Identify talent implications in business strategy, develop human capital strategies, and drive business initiatives.
  • Identify organizational needs and gaps, and drive to build organizational capability and people excellence.
  • Partner with the business to drive succession planning and talent management by identifying high impact/critical roles, developing incumbents and successors, as well as identifying mobility opportunities and candidates.
  • Effectively coach business leaders and the leadership team in leading inclusively and maintaining an engagement strategy with a focus on a best in class culture.
  • Build people leader effectiveness and drive effective talent management by leveraging globally consistent talent calendar and Center of Expertise (COE) toolkits.
  • Lead Strategic Workforce Planning and drive Inclusion & Diversity strategy in the location.
  • Partner with leaders to lead pay planning processes, budget processes, and long term planning strategy.
  • Drive utilization of rewards and recognition programs aligned with our People Excellence and business strategy.
  • Foster a change management mindset, while driving strategic projects both within the manufacturing facility as well as across the greater manufacturing footprint within North America.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7+ years of experience as a strategic HR business partner with progressively increased responsibilities in a multinational company
  • Experience working within a Manufacturing/Production environment, with a significant portion of the workforce in hourly/blue collar roles

Preferred Skills And Experiences

  • Masters degree in Business Administration, or Human Resources
  • Experience in a lean manufacturing environment; knowledge specifically related to World Class Manufacturing (WCM)
  • Business Acumen- Uses extensive knowledge and insight about the business to fully engage in business discussions and lead People Excellence strategy to improve talent and business outcomes
  • Strategic Partner – Develops effective relationships with clients by building trust, leveraging networks, applying HR expertise, and measuring and ensuring business results
  • Organizational Effectiveness – Creates an effective and strong organization by utilizing organizational diagnosis tools, leveraging organization design principles, and building organization capabilities in line with Whirlpool’s core values to win against the competition
  • Data-driven Insights- Applies data analytics and judgment to draw insights that inform business decision making
  • Coach- Uses coaching and influencing skills to successfully drive change and leaders’ ownership/accountability
  • Change Champion- Partners to lead and sustain change creating an agile and responsive organization
