You will take responsibility to achieve the best solution for ZEISS, balancing individual functional and segment needs by improving the Record-to-Report End-to-End process

• P&L design, incl. line-items and dimensions for 360-degree analytics of management units, markets products and customers
• Product cost planning on plant level and the determination of product costs from global ZEISS group perspective
• Internal accounting and performance management of different ZEISS business models
• Month-end closing of individual legal entities and the integration with next generation consolidation
• ZEISS standard chart of accounts and accounting manual design incl. asset, lease, and tax accounting

Responsibilities – You will take on a moderating and leadership role, understanding and mastering the individual processes in collaboration with ZEISS functions and process experts in a goal-oriented manner. You will steer and orchestrate external consulting support within your workstream. In addition, you will exchange information with your fellow workstream leads to ensure best practice sharing and integration into related processes or systems (e.g., CRM) and report your results to the overall program management. You own the alignment of the workstream progress with the overall program plan, ensure planning, implementation, and improvement measures of your workstream and thus make a significant contribution to the overall project success.

Qualifications – a Masters degree in Finance, Business Administration, industrial engineering or a similar field of study

Required Skills – +8 years experience managing projects in global business process excellence programs, experience with SAP ERP transformations (S/4 HANA) and esp. Finance & Controlling would be beneficial, results-oriented, analytical and organizational skills paired with strong change communications skills to develop and successfully implement strategic plans, a strong change management perspective, strong German and English skills, both written and spoken
