The Sr. Manager, Engagement Manager (Services) will be an expert with the Workday Deployment Methodology and manage a team through large to complex global deployments. In this role, they will use their broad expertise to resolve multiple complex issues in creative and effective ways. They will also support executive level expectations by providing internal recommendations to management, based on field experience, as to how to potentially enhance the Workday Deployment Methodology.
- Aggressively recruit, develop, manage and retain a diverse, high performing team of engagement managers.
- Promote a team collaborative, orientated, challenging and innovative work environment.
- Maintain and continuously improve the consulting on-boarding, performance management and career development process.
- Collaborate with the Resource Manager, Regional teams and to effectively staff engagements and build the appropriate skills vital among Workday delivery resources.
- Drive team and individuals to achieve high customer happiness levels.
- Ensure the consultants are adhering to the activities, processes and procedures outlined in Workday’s Implementation Methodology
- Become SME in the Workday product, methodology and customer requirements by actively providing project management services and working closely with the project teams.
- Along with teams positive engagement Deliver on quarterly customer happiness, references, and utilization objectives.
- Chip in to the strategic direction of the GSS and Professional Services organization through leading and participating in internal initiative
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of Strong people leadership skills and Project management experience in HCM, Payroll, Financial, Benefits, Revenue, Spend, Talent, Performance Management software solutions or systems
- 15+ years of experience of project management with HCM, Payroll or Financial within medium enterprise, large enterprise
- 9+years of experience implementing Workday, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft or similar applications.

- Strong Consulting, organizational and project management skills
- Ability to chip into multiple time zone projects and initiatives simultaneously
- Outstanding networking, mentoring skills, and resourcefulness.
- Can work in a fast paced, fast-growth, high-energy environment, and deal with multiple high priority activities concurrently.
- Experience leading 3rd parties on a project
- Experience presenting at Executive Steering Committee meetings
- Experience working with PMO providing expert guidance based on previous delivery experience
- Managed Indian customer Implementation
- Ability to partner with our Sales organization to assist in the pursuit of prospective customers using experience from previous deployments
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills, including comfort and expertise with communication with senior level executives
- Know-how to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Knowledge of multiple areas related to business software deployments
- Willingness to ‘roll up one’s sleeves’ and assist wherever needed.
- Ability to travel up to 50%
