The Senior Manager of Financial Operations will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations’ service offerings of the DFO Finance & Accounting pillar which includes procurement, expense management, accounts payable, and corporate credit card administration. In addition, you will be responsible for overseeing the controls posture within the F&A pillar. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of financial management.

  • Lead and manage the financial operations team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions
  • Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize finance operations performance.
  • Manage key financial operations processes including procurement, expense management, accounts payable, and corporate credit card administration.
  • Ensure compliance with DFO Machines, Policies, and standards.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other departments to drive financial efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor and analyze financial key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Support financial audits and coordinate with both internal and external auditors.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial management or Procure to Pay (P2P), with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations
  • Proven experience in managing financial operations and shared services functions
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools
  • Preferred Education and Experience
    • MBA
    • At least 7 years of Procure to Pay (P2P) management experience
