- Management of cross-functional and international projects or sub-projects in the finance sector with a focus on the EU Finance Shared Services area
- Comprehensive support in the globalization of accounting activities and the development of a new global target operating model (strategy, scope, processes, activity splits, etc.) in close collaboration with the Head of EU Finance Shared Services
- Taking on the role of Project Management Office/Transformation Management Office
- Expansion of performance management including the further development and adjustment of the (end-to-end) process KPIs as well as control of internal and external stakeholders and further development of the service management approach and service contracts
- Identification, design and implementation of measures and tools to optimize, digitize and automate processes
- Analysis and optimization of the delivery model, especially with regard to the provision of services through ‘captive’ business services, outsourcing or managed services
- Selection and evaluation of required IT systems and IT tools
- Participation in the design and implementation of strategic concepts as well as in the continuous optimization of the regional/globalized accounting function and centers of excellence/shared service centers
- Carrying out workshops and process analyses, creating and coordinating process designs and process documentation (e.g. with the help of design thinking)
- Creation of deliverables and decision templates and presentation at all hierarchy levels as well as carrying out benchmarking, best practice analyzes and creation of business cases, etc.
- Very successfully completed studies in economics (economics, business administration), business informatics or a comparable degree
- Double degree, WP or an additional part-time degree or in-depth further training would be an advantage
- Several years of experience as a management consultant in a globally operating, well-known management consultancy or strategy, organizational, process or IT consultancy or from the environment of the “Big Four” auditing and consulting companies
- Profound experience in the design, implementation and further development of finance target operating models, especially in the areas of organization, “end-to-end” processes, control and delivery models as well as experience in process modeling (e.g. MS Visio, ARIS, BIC)
- Profound experience in managing international, cross-functional projects as well as design and implementation of global business service and/or shared service structures with a corresponding track record
- Experience in digitizing and automating processes with RPA; Affinity for the use and implementation of “best practice” IT systems and IT tools
- Excellent analytical-conceptual and methodical thinking as well as strong goal-image thinking coupled with a “hands-on mentality” and implementation orientation
- Excellent stakeholder management and ability to integrate the interests of various stakeholders as a moderator and “translator” and to successfully implement project goals even under time pressure and against resistance
- Excellent ability to quickly familiarize yourself with complex issues and to act and communicate convincingly and in a solution- and management-oriented manner at all levels
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and sufficient knowledge of the common SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD) – SAP user knowledge is an advantage, but not mandatory
- Fluent spoken and written English skills
- A very high level of initiative, willingness to innovate and creativity
