As the Senior Manager, RTR- Central Finance Project you will be a key part of the General ledger team supporting, coordinating, and executing the Record to Report (RTR) functional work stream of Carrier’s Central Finance (CFin) ERP project. Provide accounting guidance as to the source to CFin integration along with necessary end-user testing and training. Help reconcile and manage transition from source feeding HFM consolidation system to CFin feeding HFM.
- Execute Carrier’s vision to simplify its reporting by implementing a common information model, embrace digital tools and simplify its operating environment (CFin – Central Finance)
- Work cross-functionally to deploy the common model and ensure that the planned process designs can meet the target end-state requirements
- Ensure alignment to meet stakeholder needs across operations, businesses and functions
- Help lead quality management reviews to ensure smooth transitions and minimize risk
- Ensure proper reconciliations and mappings are complete with BU alignment for go-live
- Translate requirements into test conditions and expected results for system configuration testing, mock conversions, integration, regression, product and user-acceptance testing and post-go live support
- Provide input to change management and training on user readiness for go-live
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics with 8+ years of Finance/Accounting experience OR Master’s Degree with 5+ years of Finance/Accounting experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree preferred
- Experience working with multinational corporate finance function requirements
- Experience with SAP systems preferred
- Ability to think strategically and bring original analysis to bear to resolve complex issues
- Ability to think out of the box, manage and drive change across the organization
- Experience in project management
- Excellent understanding of finance related business processes
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to develop and implement standardized, global processes
- Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written
- High energy and positive leader even while working under pressure
