We’re looking for a Senior Manager – Communications to join our Shared Service Centre in Bradford. The successful candidate will be a forward thinker and will have experience and ambition to help us deliver on our bold targets and mission. Based in Bradford you will be instrumental in delivering communications initiatives across our 700+ employees. At a time when change is constant and clear messaging more important than ever, you will help build and deliver a plan that will enable Liberty Shared Services to achieve its business priorities and live our purpose and culture. You will need to demonstrate an excellent level of writing ability and a healthy dose of creativity to produce engaging content, along with an in-depth knowledge of internal communications channels.
- Lead the effective planning and delivery of high-quality internal communications to drive our strategic priorities.
- Lead the development of messaging and materials which tell the Liberty Global and Liberty Shared Services story to employees in a compelling, inspirational and human way.
- Lead the delivery of the Culture, Engagement and Communications strategy; helping coordinate internal communications and functional communications needs.
- Provide communications counsel to senior leaders, develop and maintain positive relationships.
- Measure and analyse the effectiveness of communications strategies, making data driven recommendations for improvement.
- Co-ordinating with, and using the policies and guidance of the LG Internal Communications team.
- Substantial experience within Communications.
- Experience of operational and back-office functions (ideally shared services).
- Comprehensive understanding of the full range of communication channels and their effectiveness to deliver desired messages.
- Creative problem solver with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional business partnering skills, able to build relationships, constructively challenge and guide and counsel appropriately.
- Exceptional business and creative writing skills
- Proficient in crafting presentations and delivering them.
- Innovative and challenges status quo.
- Hands-on and a team player.
- Business understanding and familiarity with financial content.
- Ability to thrive in fast paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
