- Conduct market and industry research to inform the Group’s strategy. Scan the market / external environment and perform relevant analytic/benchmarking studies, including identifying potential untapped/underserved business opportunities
- Monitor and analyze macroeconomic, geopolitical, and technological trends
- Disseminate research findings and insights to relevant stakeholders within the Holding Company
- Develop and maintain a competitive intelligence program and relevant databases.
- Collect and analyze data on customers, competitors, and other related industry stakeholders
- Provide regular reports and insights to inform decision-making.
- Ensure proper knowledge management on the reports and insights including the lessons learnt and outcomes
- Collaborate with other functions to ensure the Holding Company has a comprehensive understanding of its operating environment. Assist to integrate and coordinate activities across functions to align operations/execution with developed strategies
- Collaborate with the relevant functions within the Holding Company and Group to identify and facilitate performance improvements, value value-creation projects/initiatives including the implementation of best practices, resulting from the reports and insights
- Assist in identifying risks/implementation gaps and facilitate the resolution of issues, initiatives, or corrective actions that have an impact on the Company’s strategy execution and performance targets.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Relevant university degree, preferably with specialization in Market Research, Financial Management, Information Systems, or its equivalent
- Possess breadth of industry knowledge and contacts
- Good experience in market and financial analysis, strategic planning, and feasibility study.
- Experience in the international property industry is preferred
- At least 7-8 years of relevant experience and have proven credentials in market research within the real estate and infrastructure industry
