- Serve as the primary Parallon subject matter expert for multiple CDRA initiatives (e.g., infection prevention, Vermont Oxford Network, cardiovascular, trauma, and/or core measures). Provide subject matter expertise on tools and resources, education, data collection and reporting, etc.
- Provide CDRA subject matter expertise to technical teams in data mapping, data dictionary development, data management and change management activities.
- Participate in routine CDRA Director and Manager calls/meetings to provide subject matter expertise, share best practices, revise policies and procedures, follow-up on action plans and identified opportunities, and modify workflows.
- Knowledgeable of external data abstracting and/or registry agencies as well as facilitating multi-disciplinary discussions with internal teams on abstraction definition updates, system updates, education plans, etc.
- Serve as the primary role in the management of facility, SSC, Division, and Corporate department (e.g., Clinical Operations Group) customer relations of all CDRA initiatives to include implementations and daily operations.
- Provide CDRA operational support (on-site, telephone and e-mail) to facilities/divisions and support departments throughout migration and post migration.
- Develop and maintain effective strategic relationships with support departments (HIM, IT&S, Education and Project Management) and key customers (corporate, division, hospital).
- Work with the CDRA project team in executing the program plan to migrate abstracting functions from each facility/division to the shared service model.
- Associate’s Degree required. Equivalent work experience may substitute education requirements.
- Consulting or proven work experience in areas of management, training, and/or shared services strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years performing and/or managing clinical data abstraction and registries (e.g., core measures, infection prevention, trauma registry, cardiovascular registry) required
- RN preferred
