This leader is responsible for designing and implementing a vendor risk management program and leading the discovery and development/architecture of the Source to Pay platform and process across the Enterprise.
- Define processes and controls around Supplier Risk assessment and qualification and increase throughput for existing processes (e.g. food safety, information security, etc.)
- Provide analytical support to Leadership for core procurement processes (Ariba, Value Management, DocuSign, contract/PO workflow, etc.)
- Oversees procurement optimization initiatives including value management, spend analytics, and e-sourcing expected to deliver ~$2M spend reduction annually once Source to Pay process is fully implemented.
- Drives reduction in enterprise risk by establishing process that elevate vendor risk management:
- Assesses and documents supplier risks
- Establishes a vendor risk management framework in partnership with Enterprise Risk
- Leverages best practices for quantifying vendor risk
- Establishes processes and controls for identifying high risk vendors
- Establishes an escalation process for managing interaction with high-risk vendors
- Implements processes for vendor lifecycle management (Onboarding, Continuous Monitoring, Performance, and Offboarding) and ongoing vendor risk management
- Provides recommendations to mitigate supplier risk
- Own and oversee the process of adding new Suppliers to our company’s database, up to ~400+ Suppliers a year (while assessing streamlining active Suppliers across our Enterprise), which includes conducting information security assessments of potential Suppliers to ensure compliance with the company’s policies and standards.
- Own and oversee the workflow of routing contracts, up to ~600 contracts per year, according to the company’s Schedule of Authorization.
- Remain compliant and ensure all contracts are reviewed by relevant stakeholders and signed by the authorized parties.
- Own and oversee the issuance and completion of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), up to ~400+ per year, that protect the company’s intellectual property and data.
- Collaborate with Legal to review and update the NDA template, as needed.
- Own and oversee the creation and maintenance of blanket Purchase Orders (BPOs) for contractors who provide services to the company, up to ~315+ per year, with the team reviewing Statement of Works (SOWs) and Recruitment Services Agreements (RSAs). In addition to creating the blanket Purchase Orders via Contract Terms in Ariba, the leader will be responsible for ensuring their team receives the correct number of hours against the contract.
- Responsible for driving effective change management and adoption of new business processes and technology.
- Oversees key metrics associated with technology adoption and compliance with processes and standards.
- Oversees a high performing team that builds advocacy across the organization and trust amongst peers who influence others to properly engage with the Enablement Team.

- Construct and lead a high-performance team that builds expertise, and over time, becoming Ariba subject matter experts.
- Coach and develop team members to create and build succession planning, knowledge transfer, and subject matter experts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Min 5-7 years of experience working in the Procurement/Supply Chain space, supporting various enterprise functions such as IT, Marketing, Finance, International, Operations, and HR.
- Ability to build a vision, drive purpose and build commitment to the direction chosen.
- Ability to build a team and develop talent at the leadership and professional level.
- Expert project management, time management, organizational and influence skills.
- Strong oral/written communication skills, attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work output
- Proven ability to make independent decisions with minimal supervision, quickly assess new technologies and identify applications, manage complex issues concurrently and work under strict deadlines and in a rapidly changing environment.
