Hilton’s Finance team is responsible for managing all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management. Within Finance, Hilton Accounting and Finance Services (HAFS) manages the finance and accounting functions, both on property and at Corporate, allowing us to develop scalable, global financial processes. As Senior Manager, Process to Pay HAFS, you will be responsible for bringing Accounts Payable subject matter knowledge in leading PTP Tower progressive projects. The role holder will maintain and drive end-to-end improvement initiatives that support our PTP vision of Touchless Accounts Payable. The role holder will have responsibility for ensuring controls & processes are reengineered with clear methodology that delivers effective and efficient process & financial control, knowledge management and change management. Always seeking to globally standardize, you will build and manage collaborative partnerships that optimize PTP Tower transformation, measured by leading industry top quartile global digital performance metrics. Additionally, there will be a requirement to support Operational leadership in delivering excellent Accounts Payable service to our Suppliers and internal Stakeholders.
- Provide learned PTP subject matter expertise to drive effective process reengineering, system enhancement and optimal process design as part of the Transformation program of work.
- Collaborate with PTP Leads and other functions to effectively categorize and prioritise the PTP program of Transformation.
- Design and deliver enhanced performance dashboards that articulate clearly position v’s top quartile leading targets.
- Collaborate with PTP Teams globally to ensure standardization of design with step outs clearly reserved due to platform and or legal/fiscal requirements.
- Build an effective network of PTP SMEs across the regions and sub processes to support optimal design content.
- Drive the digital mindset and data lead decision making with your network of process SMEs.
- Manage stakeholder engagement by creating and delivering outstanding change management that promotes benefits, achievements, and dependencies for successful digitization of the PTP function.
- Build an effective external network that maintains knowledge of latest PTP innovations and best practices amongst our global peer group of hybrid shared service PTP verticals.
- Ensuring business continuity by providing adhoc PTP Operational support in ensuring management oversight and control as backup for the existing PTP Management.
We are looking for a leader who possesses deep knowledge and expertise of the end to end risk, control, process, platforms and customers that rely on best in class Process to Pay performance. We believe strong program management and project management discipline is key to successful deployment together with considered and comprehensive change management to sustain successful implementations along with PTP content knowledge. The HAFS PTP Lead will work closely with the Tower Lead, Operational Leadership Team and HAFS PMO Function to ensure the strategic vision of digital Transformation is achieved globally. Success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:
- Track record of managing Process to Pay improvement initiatives from inception to completion
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing business requests in parallel
- Nurture a passion for digital innovation and quest for deeper PTP business process understanding
- Interpersonal communicator, who will positively influence Hilton’s partners and who will communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and in writing

- Accountable individual, who effectively handle complex and multiple tasks with minimal direct supervision
- Proven track record of building performance dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to illustrate journey to Top Quartile performance in PTP
- Experience of Team Management in an Accounts Payable environment
To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
- Proven track record within a Process to Pay experience including Team (people) Management
- Able to demonstrate supervisory experience
- Project Management experience
- Strong knowledge of SOX controls and internal controls in general
- Ability to negotiate solutions in a matrix environment with a geographically dispersed team
- Travel approximately 30%
It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Education: Prince 2 or other Project Management Certification
- Proven track record of accounting experience
- Experience with internal or external auditing
- Experience with BPO partnerships
- Experience with Service Now, Coupa, PeopleSoft, Kofax, AI Technology, Tableau, Power BI or similar analytic display technology.
